Here are the starts. I'm hoping the final painting of the poster will be easier, since i'll be able to add white rather than have to think inversely. Pencil was complicated and unforgiving, but you get the idea. Humm... yeah. That's about all for awhile. I had the realization that the next couple of weeks are going to be the worst. Ever. So i'll try to contain my panic.

Okay, better aligned picture.Ooh! So exciting! I love faber castell, but they never have small sizes that can compare to micron. Until now! Woot. That's all for now and awhile. I lucked out and the work load isn't too bad this weekend, which I'm pretty grateful for. =^=

Taaaddaah? Took half of Saturday and all Sunday, but I like it. I'm so happy I didn't screw up too crazily with the color choices. They're pretty monochromatic, and I can't exactly explain why it's autumn in the first and somehow summer in the last, but overall, i'm pretty content. (I haven't glued these down yet, so they're a bit askew here. Better photo later. Sleep now.)

The first draft of my final sketches for this project. There are still a few things I hope to fix before I start on the watercolor version this weekend. .-. I really like this story and setting though. And I liked that I had an excuse to go to the zoo in DC (which is awesome and free!)
